So I have this friend in our clique who is somewhat an attention seeker. Let's call her M. I love her because she's my friend but her "attention-seeking" antics annoy me. How should I deal with this girl at work who humiliated me the other night at a party?

She is a coworker at a job I've been at for the last few months. Recently, I realised I was attracted to her and was hoping we would start a conversation or get to know each other better. Two weeks ago, she sent out an email to everyone asking for their 3 favourite songs for a CD of workers songs for the office and I made sure I replied... she seemed friendly in her responses and I vouched the next week, I would have an excuse to start talking with her. So, in the last week, management placed us in the same team, but I quickly realized she did not respect me by her attitude and by Wednesday, knew she wasn't for me. However, on Friday night, I made an attempt to talk to her in work night out. I said something like I was disappointed she only managed to get 2 out of my 3 songs (the missing song being a somewhat ridiculous country western song from the 60s)... I was hoping this gambit would have started some conversation but she took a humorous remark the wrong way I guess, and said she had better things to worry about all week, and turned her back on me to talk to some other guy at work. I could see him look at me, and say to her, "hey you are turning you back on him, he's talking to you", but she just ignored me and kept her back turned. I looked around and walked away. I felt so humiliated. How should I handle this? I feel I have no respect and feel totally dejected. This girl is not even that good looking but for some reason I felt attracted to her attitude but now I feel like I hate her and want revenge or to put her in her place. How can I get along with my parents?

Okay, first of all I'm the type of person who tries to love, but develops hate toward people very easily, and I feel like everybody in the world hates me. It's not my fault and I'm not that way by choice, it's just who I am. It's probably some sort of psycological disorder or something. Anyway, I'm 13 years old and I've lived with my parents my entire life. I mainly live with my mother because my father does demolition out of town. He comes home like once a month though. Now of course there are the little things that every mother does like making me brush my teeth and limiting my sugar conption, but I understand those things and I don't mind that she does them. However, she does certain things that I think most mothers shouldn't do. Whenever I do something wrong even by mistake, she yells at me, not to dicipline me, but out of pure anger. She takes out her frustration on me by shrieking at me in her awful voice. It's really damaged my nearves over the past 13 years. I also feel like she doesn't treat me like her child, but more like her husband or something. I don't feel her caring, loving vibe that I used to feel when I was little. I'm not even sure if she loves me anymore. I also think she sees me as nothing more than an annoyance. I don't think she sees me as her son, but more like a fly that won't leave, and all I do is annoy her. Not love, talk to, care about, or matter...just annoy. I'm afraid that's all she thinks I am. She constantly yells at me every day even when I don't do anything. If I just talk to her about something she doesn't care about, she'll yell at me to shut up. I'm just sharing what's on my mind. She always corners me into having an outburst and gets mad at me for it. What is a good cheap PA system for a beginner death metal vocalist?

I'm asking this question here, because hopefully I can get some input from moms and other teenage girls. Okay, so there's this girl I go to school with. There are 7 lessons a day, and I have lessons 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7 with her. I wouldn't say that we're friends, she's way higher up on the social totem pole than I am, but we're amicable and chat from time to time, and we have a few mutual friends. I noticed in lesson one that she had gotten her period. Luckily, she was wearing black leggings with a long shirt, but she left a streak of blood on her chair. That's just another part of high school- occasionally you'll walk into cl and there'll be blood on the chair. It is really gross, and of course no one will sit in the seat, but I really feel sorry for whoever left it, because it's so humiliating. All of lesson two I was torn, trying to decide whether or not to tell her (I sit behind her in that cl, so I could have discreetly mentioned it...). It seemed like she hadn't realized it yet, but I was worried that if she had noticed, I would have made things worse, because I think it would be really upsetting to have some girl you barely know remind you of something really embarring, and validate the fear that other people have noticed. And there was a substantial amount of blood on the chairs in lessons one and two, so I felt that one of her closer friends in one of the classes must have noticed and said something. I really felt like I should have said something, but social interaction, especially when involving an awkward subject, is not exactly my fort�. I didn't see her again until fifth period, roughly three hours later, and while she was still leaving a little blood on the seat, it wasn't as bad as this morning, and she was sitting on the very edge of her chair and kind of fidgeting, so I think she had noticed by then. What should I have done? Did I do the right thing, or should I have said something? If it had been a close friend, I would have said something, but... I don't know. What should I do if something similar happens again? I feel really bad, but at the same time I think I would have felt bad and awkward and embarrassed myself if I had told her. Help!

First I look at her flirty/mad face, then down to watch her hip push out to the side, then down/out to where her hip sticks way out w/her hand on her hip, so I'm like WTF?? There HAS to be a way to block this move, but HOW, I CAN'T! What do I do? Do i focus on her flirty/mad look on her face? I watch when her hip pushes out to the side, right? Very specific graphic problem with the Sims 3. Any solutions?

When I go to Create A Sim the specific sliders for facial features, muscle tone, etc. either have no effect on the Sim or cause parts to be distorted or completely disappear. Today I discovered that if I lock my computer (I have a notebook), then return to my account and wait for the Sims to pop up again, the problem is fixed. Usually, the game is rendered perfectly in Live Mode after this, but it sometimes reverts back right after leaving Create a Sim or when I press Pause. All of my system requirements match up except that I'm a little short on RAM, which I was told wouldn't be a huge problem, except that I couldn't play on a higher graphic setting, and my graphics card isn't one on the list, but could be considered somewhat equivalent. When I put in a ticket on the Sims 3 website, they said that my graphic card would render everything in the game except the Sims themselves, but if I can get it to render after locking, then could there possibly be a permanent way to keep the graphics nice and pretty? Perhaps I need to change a setting on my card?

It's interesting so far and I like that you don't hold back with it. It's strange to come into the middle of something because at first I imagined Andrew was shackled to the floor. I'm not sure what 'working mouths' means. The world turning upside down happens too quickly too. If they're being attacked by a sea monster, he could be slammed against the wall first and slide up, wondering what the hell's going on. It could use more details, little nooks and crannies like that will bring it to life more. Once the ship is righted, if he's in a room of prisoners who've experienced that too - they could also be reacting to it. All the vomit and excrement on the floor could have moved around or something too. Definitely some good action though and I'd want to read on. Nice job! Good luck with it.

I have this medium size brown dot on my lower left arm. Its like up to my veins. Its only like one spot and I'm 13 years old. I don't really go out in the sun, I mostly wear long sleeve or a jacket. I think he could have done it differently. If your father had kids with his second wife i would understand a little, but then he could always put one with his 2nd wife's name right by his and your moms. Or maybe each of their names in separate headstones. But think about your Dad as well, maybe these were two of the most important episodes of his life and he feels like he would like to cherish that forever. If i were in your mom's shoes i would not be mad, everyone has a right to fall in love again and who says it can't be as strong if not stronger that the first time. However, if there were no children with your step mom then that is bull, because no other relationship, no matter how much love and connection can compare to that of having something as meaningful as children.

Is this extract from my novel interesting?

I actually found it confusing and hard work to read. It is a riot scene with no hint of what the characters are like. What is an "intimidation school foyer" or do you mean 'intimidating?' There is no description of place or any characters and far too much is going on at the same time. I have seen a few fights in my time but this seemed to be rather over the top and not very realistic. Also I found the names you use rather hard work and difficult to remember. I know that is probably the names that the young have nowadays but it is still confusing. If they do not listen and continue to be disruptive, you have one of two options. Firstly, you can see if their noise is causing concern for any other neighbours, and if so, you could ask these neighbours how they would feel about making a complaint. Secondly, you could simply go to the housing body (most apartment dwellings have a body that will determine costs such as gardening, maintenance to driveways, fences etc.). If you decide to do this, write down what you have seen or heard in simple terms, so that it can be understood (I would also advise typing instead of handwriting as this looks neater) and lodge the complaint. Why is my rabbit evil?

I'm not a bad rabbit owner. I bought a rabbit about 2 weeks ago, and she has recently started biting me. She has access to dried food all day, and she has plenty of room. At first i thought it was because she wanted to go back to her hutch, or she was hungry, but she's not. She bites me a lot, and she seems to be doing it more and more. How can I tell if my GSD has a good temperament?

Okay, I bought a GSD about5 or 6 months ago... when he was 8 wks old. I don't know the breeder, but I somehow found him. He had a boy GSD. Supposedlym his father was a champion showdog and mother was a farmdog from chile. So I umed the pup would be one of the best temperaments. I bought him for $500. I thought it was a steal. His name is Turbo, and he is the sweetest dog i've ever seen. I am trying to teach him stuff like sit stay down and he knows them but is a little stubborn sometimes, but he seems to be improving. People come play soccer in my backyard and he runs and plays with them. Never bit any of my friends. SOmetimes though he growls and barks at strangers that are a little bit far away in public. He also barks at dogs. We have another dog- a bichone. Turbo is alot bigger. IDK if hes playing but he kinda jumps on his hind legs and puts his paws on her a little. He never actually bites her. She hates him. She runs away and when turbo jumps her she shrieks and snaps. IDk if turbo is being aggresive or just playing. When anyone tries to pet him he is great. I used to pay soccer when I was six until I was about 8, now, about 4 years later, I think I want to play again. I'm sort of good, my friends and family say I'm a strong player. Potty training help, 4yr old girl!!!?

My daughter is 4. She has been potty trained since she was 2 except for at night time. We have recently tried to get her trained at night. She was in pull ups and had several dry nights. She did so good the first 3-4 nights, but has had accidents the last week straight. I am also 3 months pregnant. She is very excited to be a big sister, so I don't think this has stressed her out. I am so tired and get frustrated because I know she can do it. I try my hardest not to show it, as I know it is not entirely her fault. We stop drinks after 7-7:15 and make her go 1-2 times before bed. She has started to wake up right after and will come to us. So this seems to be an improvement from sleeping through it. I am just not sure if there is something else I can do, or put her back in pull ups...??? At first she was remorseful, now she just kinda comes in and stands there until I wake up. ha ha. We know she knows its wrong. I just don't want her to feel like she is failing. She says that she does not want to wear pull ups anymore, so don't want her to feel humiliated if we put them back on. This pregnancy is just wearing me out, I have a very hard time going back to sleep afterwards and have only been getting 3-4 hours of sleep a night with a full time job and morning sickness all day. I dont think there is a health issue because she has proved she is capable of holding it through the night. If anyone has anymore ideas or thoughts, PLEASE HELP!!

Try putting her on acidophillis powder for a week or two. My doctor recommended it for my baby when he was only 6 months due to a similar problem and worked a treat. Just gave him the right balance of bugs in his tummy and has been fine since (now 16months). Also bananas are high in iron so may be constipating her. I would consider my workplace to be very equal. The company has about 300 employees. The 2 mains bosses are men, but all the istants are women. Everyone helps everyone else, and you get moved up based on your skills. Everyone takes care of their own dishes, and if you have something too heavy to lift then you get someone else to help you lift it.

Looking over some answers on here about things such as the lochness monster bigfoot mermaids dragons werewolfs and many other things of the same category it seems like everyone says right away there is no way its impossible we have no scientific proof . Scientist in my opinion don't open there minds enough some species believed to be extinct have been proven to still exist i don't think anyone should make the comment a species has died out the only real way to know that would be to see every place on earth at once there is still alot of the world we have not explored. Flared ribs... does anyone else have this?

I do not have Pectus Excavatum.. My chest is normal. But both of my ribs flare out terribly at the tips and each side is uneven along the sides of the ribs. I'm a 14 year old girl and it is humiliating because whenever I wear a bathing suit people always ask me whats wrong with my ribs..... the flared ribs cause the area between the ribs to "bubble" out so it makes me look fat no matter how much i work out ... Why does my cousin like this??!?

She's spoiled by her dad. He does everything for her and she doesn't even say thank you. How to extend my vocabulary? 15 year old female?

i'm 15 years old and i think my vocabulary really needs to be extended. I write, or at least, I Love writing. I don't know any big words, i've never been to school, but my parents have put us onto educational games and taught us other forms of education. I am the only one from my 5 other siblings that are actually really good, and since I've been home schooled like them, i should be knowing what they know too. But i just don't have it. If i have a deep feeling or something i won't be able to describe myself. Whatever I write, it has basic english. Many people compliment my writing, saying that it has great vocabulary, it is simple and understanding. But they do not know that, that is as far as i can go. The probably think that I have a vast range of vocabulary and I write that way purposely just to get everyones understanding. I feel slightly embarred when people expect me to write. They think i write really good. But soon they will notice that i use the same words often. I don't know more than that. What should I do? I really don't like being so backwards for my age. What a very great description! You could probably describe the woman a bit more. Also, can you see the last sentence, 'Then there was a loud...'. Take out the 'Then'. It builds a tiny bit more suspense, in my opinion. Also take out the 'then' in the sentence 'Then he heard her stop...'. Other than that the whole opening is very excellent. Mkay so in gym today, we did track and field. I signed up for high jump, and hurdles. This first time I did high jump, I ACCIDENTALLY forgot to jump and just fell forward. Strange animal noises in my woods lastnight.?

I live in Eastern Berks Co. in Pennsylvania , Lastnight i was sitting watchingt v and i heard something walking in the woods..was very loud..i went out to look nothing around about 15 min later i heard it again but this time it was in front of my house...my house is surrounded by woods...again i went out and seen or heard nothing..so 15-20 min later i heard this not a screech but a loud noise..so i turned the tv down and heard it again...was a shriek but not an owl i have owls here i know what they sound like..but this made like a high pitched yell then followed by a very low pitched yell...this went on for 3-4 minutes...my dog just sat staring into the woods and growled but didnt go after whatever it was..it stopped and about 2 min later u could hear it walking away...so it wasnt a bird of any sort...and i dont know of any animals in this area that make this noise...any ideas of what it may have been or anyone know of a site that has noises of animals here in eastern PA i can compare it to...ty for ur help

How can I tell my mom I am too old for day care?

So last week my mom was working, and I invited some friends over without asking her. One of them brought some cigarettes and I didn't smoke. I told her to go, but when my mom got home she saw the package and you could smell it. She told me that I couldn't stay home alone anymore, and since it is summer, she signed me up for daycare! Summer camps were too expensive. Well the only day care she could find was for 6 months-13 years. Well one of her friends worked there, so I got in even though I am 14. I have been there for the past 4 days and it is miserable. The second oldest people are eleven, they are twins, and they stay from only till 1. They treat me like I am 6! In the afternoon they actually take naps! Today we went to the community pool. To get there they put us in three big cars. They made me sit in a car seat because apparently it is "regulation." It was humiliating being buckles next to 4 year olds! They would not let me wear my bikini. I tried sneaking away, but they caught me when I was halfway down the street. They brought me back to the pool and I was told I had to stay with them near the baby pool. It was really warm so I just sat in the baby pool in my shorts and underwear and shirt. When we were done I was soaking wet, we got in the car a drove back. When i got back I was still really wet and the lady told me to change. Well I didn't have any spare clothes, so the lady gave me some clothes to change into, when she handed me some underwear, it was a depend! It was the only thing she had, but it felt like a diaper! I told her that I wouldn't wear it, but she told me that I had too. It is so boring there and I feel like I am 6, how can I tell my mom that I do not want to go anymore?

Personally, I believe bribing should only be done once in a while. If you do it often, your children might get the idea that, "Oh, if I go to bed, I'll get a prize! But I don't feel like having a prize right now, so I won't go to bed!" I work in a learning center and a strategy that I've used on the children (and it works most of the time) is to ask them questions like, "Do you like getting in trouble? What are these raccoons doing?

lol I know it's not a huge thing I'm just wondering but like randomly I'll be sitting on the couch, and all of a sudden out of no where I get super excited like I start rolling around and like just moving and like shrieking and stuff and I know I'm doing it I can stop but all of a sudden I get so excited I have no idea why I just have to jump or shake my arms or legs or like i don't know, I mean I can stop but out of no where I get this endless amount of energy and its the only way I can get it out and I have to shriek and stuff. well i have raised birds my whole life. if your sus hen is laying near shelless eggs you need to feed them oyster shells. you can get them at your local feed mill. it makes your egg shells harder and thicker. as for your other hen if she is constipated get some chicken mineral (also at local feed store) to help her lay easier. either she not getting enough protien or they do that when they are dehydrated or molting. hope this helps

My long term boyfriend cheated with his ex and now wants to rebuild the relationship?

We have been dating for over a year, and he cheated on me with his ex girlfriend and had been doing so for a few months. She showed me loads of emails and pictures that they took together, including messages of mine that he had been forwarding to her for some odd reason. I feel so betrayed, deceived and humiliated. She has been trying to ruin our relationship from day one, and I feel as though she is happy now that she has succeeded. The affair was not only physical, but emotional. In order to prove that to me, she called and put my bf on speakerphone, so that I could hear him tell her that he loved her. I was devastated. I felt as though she was intentionally trying to hurt my feelings. She showed me emails where he was talking about me behind my back, and convincing her that we were not together. She did not believe him and eventually came and asked me. He has since told her the truth, has begged for me to take him back and has promised me that he has changed. After this happened I stayed for a while, yet I am now realizing that I am having trouble forgiving what he did. Sometimes it just makes me look at him in disgust. I feel bad because he has been trying so hard, however is it possible for it to be too late to try ? If he really cares, why did he cheat on me with her in the first place? He constantly argues that this happened months ago, and therefore believes I need to at least try and move forward with him and give him a chance. I would have never lied to him this way.
