Thinking of becoming a mark rep. Advice?

I'm looking around the mark website and through various internet sources for advice on becoming a mark rep. I don't have a job, but I'm not using this as a sole mean of income. I just want to have a little extra money in my bank account each month to pay for the gas in my car and for going out with friends. (I still live with my parents, so I don't have to worry about paying bills right now) I was intrigued by the $20 startup cost and the fact that you don't seem to have to pay for new "magalogs", business cards or samples for your customers. But I want to hear from anyone who is or has been a mark rep about what the experience is like, how easy it is to sell mark products and the realistic cost of being a rep, no fluff or hype. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!
