Is this a good idea for a story?

pretty nice, although it would do a bit better with a plot. i mean, there's no sense in writing a story if all you would show are plain happenings. couldn't criticize more. the details are good, plausible. but if you're hoping it would turn out better than you would hope for, you could add up a little spice. (sorry if my explanation is quite fuzzy)
